Dear 2008 PAHEF Grants Program Applicants:

The Pan American Health and Education Foundation has officially closed the request for proposals for the 2008 PAHEF Grants Program. The main themes for this year were Childhood Obesity and Nutrition and Healthy Aging, areas of high priority in our region. We thank each and every applicant for your interest, participation, and timely submission in this year’s program. As stated in our guidelines, the winners will be notified individually and the final results will be posted on our website in early 2009. We encourage you to stay tuned to our newsletters and activities via our website at www.pahef.org. See you next year and good luck!!!

La Fundación Panamericana de la Salud y Educación ha cerrado oficialmente la solicitud de propuestas del Programa de Subvenciones para el 2008. Los temas principales en este año fueron la Obesidad Infantil y Nutrición y Envejecimiento Saludable, áreas de alta prioridad en nuestra región. Agradecemos a todos y cada uno de los aspirantes su interés, participación y presentación oportuna de sus propuestas en el programa de este año. Según se declara en nuestras directrices, los ganadores serán notificados individualmente y los resultados finales se colocarán en nuestro sitio web en enero-febrero del 2009.
