Make a Bequest
As a Friend of the Pan American Health and Education Foundation (PAHEF) and a caring individual who shares our goal of Health for All, you may want to do more but aren’t certain that you can at this time of life.
There is a way, however, that you can make a larger contribution to help improve the health of families in Latin America and the Caribbean who are trapped in poverty. You can do this through a bequest in your will.
A will is one of the most important documents that you will ever sign. It directs precisely who will receive all of the property that you accumulated in your lifetime. It is an expression of your family and personal values.
As you plan your will and discuss its terms with your attorney, please consider a bequest of a stated dollar amount, or of a percentage of your estate, or a percentage of the residue of your estate (the remainder after all inheritances, debts and costs are paid) to PAHEF to continue its vital work to improve the health of families in Latin America and the Caribbean.
If you already have a will and would like to change it, a simple codicil may be all that is needed. Whether you are planning a codicil or a new will, you will do a wonderful service for generations to follow by including PAHEF. If you have made such a bequest or intend to do so, please inform us with a telephone call, a letter or an e-mail note. We are most grateful and would like to be able to acknowledge your generosity.
If you or your attorney have any questions, please write or call our office.
