Make Every Mother and Child Count!

Health workers worldwide are focusing this year on the health of mothers and children in hopes that governments and the international community will commit to making their health a top priority.



The Pan American Health and Education Foundation joins health workers and identifies maternal and child health as priority needs to be undertaken in the Americas.



Healthy mothers and children are the bedrock of healthy societies. Millions of mothers and children suffer and die each year, yet application of existing knowledge could save the lives of millions of women and children. Together we can bring about improved lives for women and children in Latin America and the Caribbean.
