Pan American Health & Education Foundation is the sole owner of
the information collected on www.pahef.org. Pan American Health &
Education Foundation collects information from our users at several
different points on our web site.
This privacy policy and user agreement applies solely to the
information you provide while visiting this site. The terms of this
privacy policy and user agreement do not govern personal information
furnished through any means other than this site (such as via telephone
or postal mail).

Clear GIFs
We use clear GIFs in our HTML-based emails to
let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients. This
allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the
effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If users would like to

Credit Card Information
We care about the safety and
security of your transaction. We use high grade encryption and the
https security protocol to communicate with your browser software. This
method is the industry standard security protocol, which makes it
extremely difficult for anyone else to intercept the credit card
information you send to us. Companies we work with to process credit
card transactions also use high grade encryption and security

Opt-out
The site gives you options for removing your
information from our database in order to discontinue receiving
communications, Boletín Medicamentos y Terapéutica, or services. To do
this, send or reply to an e-mail of our communications ( info@pahef.org ) and put “Unsubscribe” in the subject line.

Tell-A-Friend
If a user who registers to receive periodic
updates or have access to our drug bulletin Boletín Medicamentos y
Terapéutica elects to use the referral service feature of
website-generated e-mails, we ask them for the friend’s name and e-mail
address. The Pan American Health & Education Foundation will
automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit
the site. We store this information for the sole purpose of sending
this one-time e-mail.
Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
If
a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code,
phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our
service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate
