PALTEX
PALTEX, the Expanded Textbook and Instructional Materials Program, is a joint technical program between PAHEF and PAHO/WHO, provides books and instruments for students and health professionals in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Between 2000 and 2004, PALTEX published 23 new books and training manuals, and sold a total of over 1 million books and instruments, bringing affordable knowledge to students and health workers at 520 participating universities and 60 participating social service health clinics in 18 Latin American and Caribbean countries.
