International Awards Program

PAHEF’s Awards for Excellence in Inter-American Public Health Program, in partnership with PAHO/WHO, fosters excellence in 5 key public health areas, recognizing achievements in public health leadership, voluntary community service, veterinary public health, health literature and bioethics.

PAHEF has been honored to recognize the multinational accomplishments of Latin American health leaders such as the 2005 award winners: Dr. Ricardo Uauy, Ms. Luary Carolina Martinez and Prof. Patricia Sorokin.
